Booking terms
Making a booking
A booking exists when we have confirmed it to you in writing on WhatsApp, with the date, the service, the number of people and the price. Asking a question commits you to nothing.
Prices
Prices are quoted per person or per vehicle/boat as stated at the time, and are held for the dates quoted. Entrance fees to archaeological sites and the mud baths are set by their operators, are paid locally in Turkish lira, and are excluded unless the confirmation says otherwise.
Payment
The payment method and timing are agreed in the written confirmation. The amount confirmed is the amount due. No additional charge is made on the day for anything that was included in the confirmation.
Cancellation by you
Tell us as soon as you know. Cancellation terms depend on the service: shared tours are the most flexible, private charters and villas the least, because a boat or a house held for you cannot be resold at short notice. The applicable terms are stated in your written confirmation before you commit.
Cancellation by us — weather and safety
The skipper or driver may cancel or shorten a trip for weather, sea state, or any other safety reason. This decision is theirs alone and is final. If a trip is cancelled by us before departure you may move to another date or take a full refund. If a trip is cut short after departure for safety reasons, we refund the proportion not delivered.
Your responsibilities
Be at the agreed place at the agreed time. Follow the crew’s instructions on and around the boat. Tell us before booking about medical conditions, mobility needs, pregnancy, allergies or anything that affects whether a service is suitable — we would far rather change the plan than find out on the water.
Children
Children remain the responsibility of the adults with them at all times, including in the water, on the beach and at the mud baths.
Alcohol and behaviour
The skipper may refuse boarding to, or land, anyone whose condition or behaviour puts others at risk. No refund is due in that case.
Protected areas
The Dalyan delta and İztuzu Beach are a Specially Protected Area. Nesting-season rules — the night closure of the beach, umbrella lines, no vehicles on the sand — are set by the authorities and are not negotiable by us or by you.
Insurance
Travel insurance is your responsibility and we strongly recommend it, including cover for medical treatment and for cancellation.
Third-party services
Where a service is delivered by a partner operator — a villa owner, a transfer company, a boat cooperative — that operator’s own conditions and insurance apply to the delivery of that service. We select them, we stand behind the arrangement, and we deal with any problem on your behalf.
Complaints
Tell us while you are still here. Almost anything can be fixed on the day and almost nothing can be fixed after you have flown home.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Muğla have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.
