Dalyan Sunset Cruise
The rock tombs face west. For about forty minutes before sunset they go from grey to honey to orange, and the only place to watch that properly is from the water. The reeds go quiet, the herons come back to roost, and there is nobody else on the river.

Do we see the tombs lit up at night?
The tombs are floodlit after dark and you see them on the way back, but the good light is the forty minutes before the sun goes.
Are there mosquitoes?
It is a delta in summer. Bring repellent and you will not think about it.
