Dalyan Jeep Safari

Everything about Dalyan that is not on the water. Dirt tracks through pine forest, villages where the road runs out, and a swim in Yuvarlakçay — spring water cold enough to take your breath, under plane trees, with trout restaurants built on stilts over the stream.

  4. Yuvarlakçay

Swim in the cold spring stream and eat trout by the water.

A soak in the sulphur pools on the way back.

Questions people actually ask

Is it safe for children?

Yes, with seat belts and a sensible convoy speed. Very small children are better on the boat trip — the tracks are genuinely bumpy.

Do we get wet?

Almost certainly. Water fights between jeeps are a fixture and Yuvarlakçay is a swim stop.

Can I drive?

No. These are guided convoys with local drivers who know which tracks are passable this week. Self-drive quad and buggy safaris are a separate thing — ask us.
